Dear All,

How are you all doing? I hope you are all keeping good health and that your practices are going well.

We just concluded the 1 billion Amitabha Drubchen that began on May 7th and concluded on May 24th. This Drubchen was a very special experience as we had the participation by students from all over the world including people from Tibet. We hope to do the same for all the other drubchens we hold every year in our monastery  in Mundgod. I am happy to inform you that we exceeded the target of 1 billion mantras which crossed to a total of 1,032,434,968.

I was at Seralung Monastery (monastery of my late nephew) in Kollegal Tibetan Settlement to consecrate the new Gonkhang (dharma protector temple) that was recently completed. I am presently in Bylakuppe. In a few days I will leave for Nepal via Delhi to see the work going on there. Due to shortage of funds, we had to keep on hold the construction of the retreat cottages. The casting of the foundation for the construction of the new Temple at Bylakuppe is on. I will be going into a short retreat at the Tiger’s Nest in Paro, Bhutan for around two weeks.

I pray that all your practices and activities will be successful and benefit all sentient beings.

Greetings and best wishes to all the sangha members from me, Truelha and all the monks.

Yours in the Dharma,

Ayang Rinpoche
