HE Choeje Ayang Rinpoche

Dear All,

I send my heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the victims and families who have been severely affected by the strong  earthquake that shook Jeykudo – Yushu of Qinghai province on April 14th 2010.

The Amitabha Foundation and the monks of our monastery shall hold a special prayer service for all those who lost their precious life and the many thousands injured. May the people of Jeykudo overcome from the aftermaths and swiftly return to normal life.

This year Venerable Ontul Rinpoche will be leading the Guru Rinpoche Drubchen at Ayang Rinpoche’s Dechen Choeku Ling Monastery in Mundgod. 

Participants at the monastery and world-wide will be accumulating 1 billion Vajra Guru mantras beginning March 30, 2010.  Mantra accumulation will take at least 10 days and will continue longer, as necessary to finish 1 billion. 

Many lamas have said that by contributing mantras to such a great activity, participants gain as much merit as if they did the entire billion mantras themselves. 

Ayang Rinpoche requests: This is a great opportunity.  Please, everybody join and recite mantras as much as you can.

The Vajra Guru mantra is OM AH HUNG BENZA GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG. 

Report the mantras you have accumulated every day or every few days on the amitabhafoundation.us website or by sending them to NY@amitabhafoundation.us or amitabhafoundation@gmail.com.

Dear Friends,

I am sending you my wish for a very happy, healthy, peaceful and meaningful New Year. We will not be celebrating Tibetan New Year at the monastery due to the parinirvana of HH Penor Rinpoche. Therefore, we will not be sending any New Year greetings cards, which we usually do every year before Losar. I look forward to seeing you in the Iron Tiger year.

Here is the daily schedule of the XVI Bodhgaya Phowa course. Rinpoche has made some time adjustments in the schedule  from Jan 5 – 9 2010 so that people can also take the teachings of HH the Dalai Lama.
